If only building a portfolio were that easy.
Like many designers, I wanted my portfolio to be more than just a website with a hero section, an "About Me" page, and a grid of projects.
I wanted people to remember the experience, not just the work.
While searching for inspiration, I came across Raphael Giraud's AI portfolio, and it immediately caught my attention. Instead of making visitors read through every section to understand who he was, they could simply ask questions and have a conversation with an AI version of him.
That idea stuck with me.
Today, AI has become part of our everyday workflow. Whether it's ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, people are becoming increasingly comfortable asking AI questions instead of searching through pages of content. So I started thinking...
What if my portfolio worked the same way?
Instead of making visitors wonder about my experience, skills, or projects, they could simply ask.
"What was your role in this project?"
"What's your design process?"
"Have you worked on startups?"
The AI responds instantly, making my portfolio feel less like a static website and more like a conversation.
From there, I designed the rest of the experience around that same idea. Every interaction, animation, and transition was created with one goal in mind: to make exploring my work feel natural, engaging, and memorable.
This portfolio is still evolving, but that's what makes it exciting. Just like any product, it will continue to improve as I learn, experiment, and grow as a designer.
